NASHVILLE, Tenn., August 23, 2023 - The Rutledge, Nashville's premier dining destination renowned for its southern hospitality and modern architecture, is thrilled to
announce the launch of an unparalleled gastronomic experience – The Rutledge’s Wine Dinner Series. With an unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of Nashville’s wine experiences, The Rutledge has partnered with esteemed Napa wineries to curate an unforgettable experience that marries the essence of their wines with the culinary craftsmanship of the restaurant's modern American grill offerings. Throughout the course of the evening, winery representatives provide an upbeat wine education experience that is one of a kind.
"At The Rutledge, we believe that a great wine and dine experience is more than just a meal – it’s an immersive journey," states Mason Revelette, owner of The Rutledge. “I’m a firm
believer that you don’t need to be a sommelier or an expert in wine to enjoy these types of events. At the end of the day, wine is fun. Our Wine Dinner Series is designed for all levels of wine knowledge to enjoy.” The Wine Dinner Series invites both connoisseurs and enthusiasts to discover the extraordinary wines Napa Valley has to offer – from the rich, velvety reds that dance alongside sumptuous entrées to the crisp whites that accentuate delicate flavors.
The Rutledge kicked-off its Wine Dinner Series on July 27th featuring Alpha Omega Winery. The inaugural dinner featured the exceptional single vineyard wines by Alpha Omega including 1155 Alpha Omega Sauvignon Blanc and the 2018 ERA, the winery’s flagship wine that has earned exceptional scores of 99 from Robert Parker and 95 from Wine Spectator’s James Suckling. With the limited case production of the 2018 ERA, tastings of this caliber set the benchmark for the rare and exquisite wines to be offered at Wine Dinner Series events.
The Rutledge is thrilled to announce its next Wine Dinner Series event with Elusa Winery on Friday, September 22nd. Elusa Winery is located at Four Seasons Napa Valley in Calistoga. Renowned wine maker, Thomas Rivers Brown, started working with the winery in 2013 to craft their impressive library of vintages. Working alongside Thomas Rivers Brown, winemaker Jonathan Walden is responsible for crafting mouthwatering Calistoga AVA wines and single vineyard wines. The Robb Report recently named Elusa’s tasting room Calistoga’s best wine room for wine lovers. The Rutledge’s specially crafted culinary offerings for the event include pressed ahi tuna sushi, root beer braised pork belly, pan seared Dover Sole, braised short rib, vanilla panna cotta and much more.
